The town is small and picturesque. The local restaurant list is short. The Island and harbor are beautiful. The hotel is accommodating.

None of this matters because you will only spend two days there and it is merely the prelude to a fabulous week aboard the boat. 

Here are some of the sights you'll see.

I like colorful floats on boats.

Someday I'll Photoshop the heck out of this and get the fluorescent quality of the red tail light back. Until then, read the bumper stickers.

Smoke on the water. At 5:45 am there is a lot of fog in Petersburg.

At 5:30am there isn't enough going on to disturb the water.

Sing Alley shops. I took the shot to capture the windmills in the window. It will need some work.
